A multi-generational company founded in 1925, one of the oldest in the perfume industry in Kuwait and the Middle East. The late Sulaiman Al Marshoud founded Atyab Al Marshoud in 1925 and it was the first perfume company founded in the Gulf. Sulaiman Al Marshoud is a historical icon in Kuwait and the GCC as he was the first to introduce the world of fragrance to the region. He traveled extensively in India and Southeast Asia in search of incense, scented wood chips from ancient trees and a key ingredient in fragrances and incense. Elder Al Marshoud sold incense and pure oils extracted from plants and flowers to consumers and taught his sons the art of blending oils to create fragrances.
