The story

The Spirit of Kings is a luxury perfume house born in Marbella, Spain. Behind it is Niche Perfumes, the company based in Nueva Andalucía which also runs the Niche Perfumes boutiques in Spain, from Marbella to Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Majorca. Its fragrances are signed by Christian Provenzano, whom the house presents as a master of his craft: his passion for perfume began as a child in Morocco, among the scents and essential oils around him; he trained in Holland, where he started as a lab assistant, won a FiFi Award with Agent Provocateur, contributed to Penhaligon's fragrances and today creates in Dubai.

The inspiration, the house says, is the long heritage of artistic excellence fostered by royal patronage, together with the aesthetics and history of European craftsmanship. “Marching into the future with a confident stride, Spirit of Kings strives to enrich the present by evoking an enchanting and legendary past through its modern creations”, reads its story. This is the idea that shapes the range: each collection is dedicated to a virtue of kings and queens and has its own colour, and each perfume bears the name of a royal value, from Mercy to Honor.

The house made its debut in 2019 with the Gold Collection, which today counts thirteen perfumes, each named after a star or a star system. In 2021 it exhibited at Pitti Fragranze in Florence. Then came the collections of the virtues, four perfumes each: the Compassion Collection, red like emotion and passion; the Justice Collection, blue like clarity and balance; the Wisdom Collection, green like growth and knowledge, inspired by herbs and aromatic traditions; the Guardianship Collection, purple because it unites the passion of red with the clarity of blue. In summer 2024 came the White Musk body spray; in 2025, at TFWA in Cannes, the house presented Musk, which brings the same musk essence into parfum concentration and opens the Patience Collection, and Empathy, the first perfume of the Generosity Collection, orange like warmth and abundance. In 2026, at Esxence in Milan, Amara and Grace completed it.

The fragrances of the virtue collections are Parfum, in 50 and 100 ml sizes. Each stone on the bottle has a meaning: for Amara and Grace an amber-coloured stone, a symbol of warmth, abundance and enduring light; for Empathy an orange sapphire; for Musk the diamond, which mirrors its soul. Among the best sellers named by the house are Harmony, Allegiance, Amara, Honor, Mercy, Nobility, Affinity and Fidelity. The Spirit of Kings is found in niche perfumeries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas and Australia, and in many Italian cities; the house is based in Marbella.

• Compassion Collection: Mercy (amber gourmand with amber, caramel, hedione and ambergris), Harmony (floral fruity with passion fruit, pineapple, blackcurrant and violet leaves), Amity (fruity gourmand with strawberry, pineapple, orris and raspberry), Affinity (floral amber with nutmeg, lavender, jasmine and olibanum).
• Justice Collection: Honor (spicy amber with saffron, cloves, fig, incense and Cambodian oud), Nobility (fruity spicy with pineapple, plum, lavender and an aquatic accord), Verity (chypre floral with pineapple, aldehydes, leather and oakmoss), Virtue (spicy amber with lavender, marigold, saffron, labdanum and olibanum).
• Wisdom Collection: Notion (floral spicy with ginger, eucalyptus, orris butter and magnolia), Elevation (spicy woody with lemon, black pepper, orris, sage and leather), Perception (spicy amber with birch, cognac, thyme, orris and leather), Intuition (spicy amber with cardamom, saffron, castoreum and Cambodian oud).
• Guardianship Collection: Allegiance (floral amber with juniper, rose, magnolia, lavender and cedarwood), Fidelity (floral amber with coriander, rose, jasmine, benzoin and oud), Dedication (floral amber with raspberry, saffron, Moroccan rose, orange blossom and Cambodian oud), Loyalty (woody amber with rum, saffron, Damask rose, an oud accord and vanilla).
