Stéphane Humbert Lucas began as a painter, not a perfumer. He studied tempera painting in the south of France under a Flemish master, focusing especially on the interaction between pigments and texture. It was by observing how a colour could evoke a sound or a scent that he discovered his own synaesthesia, the ability to perceive several senses at once. Founded in 2012 and launched commercially the following year, this French niche perfumery builds every fragrance the way one would build a painting: starting from a blank canvas, layering colours, images and memories before the olfactory accord itself even takes shape. As the founder himself puts it, "I don't invent perfumes, I rearrange them and invite them to combine."

Our selection draws mainly from the Snake Collection, launched in 2015 with Mortal Skin: here the snake becomes a universal symbol of transformation, seduction and hypnosis, told through myths gathered from Mexico to China. Each fragrance in the collection carries its own character or legend, from Cleopatra to the sea serpent of the deep. Alongside it, we also carry part of the Soleil de Jeddah line, part of the wider Collection 777, where the Arabian desert becomes a sensory landscape of light, leather and resins.
