Mortal Skin is born from an idea of hypnosis. The snake approaches slowly, with charm and mystery; then the tension rises, between danger and desire; finally comes the bite, and the black venom spreads in a contrast between suffocating heat and icy cold. The maison describes it as captivating and addictive, a perfume that seizes its wearer and never lets go. It is the forefather of the collection and already contains all of its soul: seduction, ambiguity and a beauty that resembles no other.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is dark and intriguing: blackberry brings a black, almost tangy fruit, saffron a leathery nuance, cardamom a fresh, spicy shiver. The heart opens on sandalwood, opoponax and iris, a powdery, resinous passage that wraps around the fruity side and makes it velvety. The base closes on labdanum, musk and ambergris: a warm, balsamic finish that stays on you like a second skin.
