Devertere isn't made to please you right away — it's made to make you think. The name comes from the Latin devertĕre, "to deviate": a statement of intent for this Italian niche perfumery born in Ciriè from the meeting of Lorenzo Cavoretto, who brings the technical craft of the formula, and his son Federico, who brings a conceptual eye shaped by art and contemporary design.

Every fragrance is built to evolve unpredictably on skin, rarely in a straight line: notes collide rather than following each other neatly, in a language that echoes the irony and dissent of Dadaism.
