Zeromolecole

The story

Zeromolecole is the Turin house of Stefania Marzufero Boni. It all began in the early 1990s with Maître Parfumeur, the artistic perfumery Stefania opened in Piazza Gran Madre, at the foot of the Turin hill, where for years she selected perfumes and raw materials. In 2009 she decided to turn her memories into “liquid emotions”: Zeromolecole was born, and in 2010 came the first fragrances, all linked by a gourmand thread, innovative for the trends of those years. “We have been turning memories into fragrances since 2009”, the house writes today.

Its whole philosophy is in the name: “Zero” is the street number of the perfumery where it all began, in Via Monferrato; “Molecole” recalls the Mole Antonelliana, the symbol of Turin, and the molecules perfumes are made of. The first creation and best seller of the line is Biancolatte, the scent of a doll in your hands, made of vanilla, caramel, butter and a pinch of salt.

Turin returns in many fragrances. Nerocacao is a tribute to the city of Italy's great chocolates; Nèh is the elegance of the Turin madamin in drops; Violamore is inspired by the Senateur violet candy; Tredici and Oscuro tell of the city suspended between white and black magic, each the antithesis of the other. Others are personal memories: Clori the flowering countryside of Colfiorito from Stefania's childhood, Lalao the comfort of childhood, Iaia the elixir of the eternal Peter Pan.

The range is divided into four lines, Gourmand, Florals, Citrus and Spicy, all in 100 ml Parfum concentration. Alongside them is the Trilogia Cosmo, three Extrait de Parfum devoted to the mystery and wonder of the cosmos, with Cosmico, Rosa Galattica and Come*Te; some fragrances, such as Biancolatte, Dudù and Nuvole, also come in a body line. Zeromolecole has exhibited at Pitti Fragranze in Florence and at Esxence in Milan.

• Gourmand: Biancolatte (gourmand amber with Bourbon and Madagascar vanilla, caramel, butter and salt), Lalao (2012, gourmand amber with sugar crystals, milk and vanilla), Nerocacao (2011, gourmand amber with chocolate, orange zest, coconut and tiare flower), Iaia (2010, fruity gourmand with wild strawberry, raspberry, gingerbread and hazelnut), Sà di Bacio (2023, gourmand amber with almond, magnolia, cherry, incense and tonka bean).
• Florals: Amamè (floral gourmand with orange blossom, tiare, jasmine and coconut milk), Nèh (2011, floral powdery with violet, orris butter, Sicilian almond and opoponax), Violamore (2022, floral gourmand with blackberry, violet, liquorice and caramel), Osa (floral musky with orange blossom, tiare and tuberose absolute).
• Citrus: Nuvole (2010, citrus musky with linen flower, lemon, cedarwood and white musk), Stromboli (2010, citrus marine with seaweed, mugwort, mint, caper flower and prickly pear), Bollicine (2011, citrus spicy with citrus, pink pepper, champagne and incense), Clori (floral powdery with lily of the valley, wisteria, camellia and mimosa).
• Spicy: Geco (2012, spicy amber with rum, cinnamon, patchouli, honey and vanilla), Oscuro (spicy leather with black pepper, incense, liquorice, leather and vetiver), Tredici (2018, spicy amber with pink pepper, incense, orris butter and Peru balsam), Dudù (2010, spicy amber with Bourbon vanilla, frangipani, honey and caramel).
