Les Folies Du Parfum

Les Folies Du Parfum was born on February 22, 2022, at 22:22 — a manifesto date, chosen in homage to the muse who inspires the entire collection: Marchesa Luisa Casati Stampa, the first true "female dandy", who turned her own existence into a work of art built from calculated excess. Founded by Valentina Tecchio and Raul Paronetto, the brand carries the olfactory signature of Bertrand Duchaufour — Head Perfumer for over a decade before dedicating himself to this project — and the artistic direction of Giovanni Castelli, a Bologna native with a background in architecture and fashion design, who in 2002 founded Acqua di Stresa, one of the first Italian fragrances inspired by a specific place.

Every fragrance in the collection is named after a real figure who chose to live outside convention, often paying the price in scandal. The journey begins with Casati Stampa herself and her legendary receptions at the Parisian Palais Rose, before moving on to the Capri of Gabriele D'Annunzio — a restless poet and lover, whose villa, impossible loves, and life lived like a novel run through the collection. There's also the anarchist aviator Guido Keller, Baron Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen and his Villa Lysis, and the historical poisoner Giulia Tofana, whose ambiguity between allure and danger gives its name to one of the line's most unusual fragrances.

The thread tying these very different lives together is the same one the founders use to describe the brand itself: "crazy, vibrant, luxury". Not fragrances designed to go unnoticed, but to tell — to those who wear them and those who encounter them — a story bigger than a simple bouquet.

Where to Start

If you love oud but want it with a citrus twist and a strong concept → Black Mandarin

If you're after the fragrance that started it all, born from the same date that gives the brand its name → 22.22

If you want an oriental with a bold alcoholic opening that doesn't go unnoticed → Keller
