The Fragrance

BX is born from the secret diary of the Countess of Castiglione, the "Queen of Hearts" who conquered the European courts of the nineteenth century by turning seduction into an art. In her journal she recorded her encounters with an intimate code: E for a barely touched encounter, B for a stolen kiss, BX for an almost complete intimacy, F for a total experience. From that code comes a fragrance that plays on the contrast between an apparent innocence and a voluptuous creaminess. It belongs to the Classic Collection, is made in Italy at a 20% concentration and comes in the hand-crafted glass bottle with magnetic cap, kept in a wooden box.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is delicate and powdery: hawthorn and violet have an almost innocent sweetness, immediately warmed by resinous benzoin. In the heart the composition turns creamy and enveloping: tonka bean and heliotrope, with their almond accent, intertwine with musky ambrette and with driftwood, which brings a woody note smoothed by the sea. The base is warm and velvety: vanilla settles on sandalwood and cedarwood, while musk leaves an intimate, magnetic, indecipherable trail on the skin.
