God of Fire is the unisex eau de parfum from the Snake Collection by Stéphane Humbert Lucas, the Parisian maison of the painter, poet and perfumer who signs every one of its creations. The Fragrance

God of Fire is born from a myth, not from an ingredient: Xiuhtecuhtli, the Aztec deity of fire, light and day, the personification of warmth in the cold and of light in the darkness. The maison describes it as a shamanic experience, a fire that burns intensely and from which you emerge regenerated and full of confidence, and considers it the gateway to its universe. The perfume translates that idea of transformation into a composition that starts out bright and exotic and slowly warms up, until it becomes dark and enveloping.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is an explosion of ripe mango, juicy and almost gourmand, brightened by lemon, lit up by ginger and made sparkling by pink berries. As the minutes pass, the heart introduces blue coumarin, jasmine and dry woods, which dry out the fruity side without ever switching it off. In the following hours the base takes over: oud, nagarmotha, musk and amber build a warm, resinous trail that stays on the skin all day long.

In the shop we cannot recall a single wrinkled nose in front of God of Fire, quite the opposite: those who try it for the first time light up, and we watch the smile widen as they smell the blotter.
