Venom Incarnat is born as a terrific love potion. The maison describes it as a subtle blend of venom, strawberry and glamour, with an aphrodisiac, sophisticated heart, and calls it addictive and stimulating. Even the red colour of the juice is part of the story: it is that of a love elixir. It is the most sensual and carnal perfume of the whole Serpent Collection, the one in which sweetness meets depth.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is an explosion of warm red fruits: blackberry, strawberry and wild strawberry intertwine with caramel in an almost syrupy sensation, more concentrated and enveloping than fresh. The heart adds raspberry, while Virginia cedar and cinnamon bring structure and a first touch of spicy warmth. The base is the twist: tonka bean, black vanilla and patchouli meet Russian leather, which shifts the composition towards something darker, more adult and sensual, with a trail that stays with you for many hours.

Yes: strawberry, together with wild strawberry and blackberry, is the most recognisable note of the opening, rendered warm and concentrated, almost like ripe red fruits in the sun.

Is the Russian leather very noticeable?
It arrives in the base and stays elegant, but it is what gives the composition structure and sensuality: it is the detail that makes it grown-up.

How is it different from Pink Boa?
They are two fruity scents of the Serpent Collection: Pink Boa is fresh, sparkling and playful, Venom Incarnat is warm, caramelised and leathery. The first is for daytime, the second for the evening.

Why is it called Venom Incarnat?
In French incarnat means a vivid red: for the house its red colour is a subtle blend of venom, strawberry and glamour, and the perfume is a terrific love potion.
