The Fragrance

Pompeian red is the intense pigment, obtained from cinnabar, that still colours the frescoes of the domus of Pompeii today. The opening is bright and surprising: yellow mandarin meets the green note of galbanum and the gourmand softness of bitter almond. In the heart, an opulent bouquet of orange blossom, Damask rose, ylang ylang and jasmine sambac blooms, made powdery and creamy by heliotrope. The base is warm and velvety: cashmere wood, white amber, labdanum, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla leave a soft, elegant and sensual trail.
