How It Evolves on the Skin

Meydan opens with a spiced, citrus accord: grapefruit brings a bright, slightly bitter freshness, while bergamot and apple add a juicy brightness. Lavender and wormwood introduce a herbal nuance, quickly warmed by cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, while saffron delivers its golden, exotic signature; cypress and styrax close the opening with a resinous, balsamic touch.

After about twenty minutes, the heart reveals its warmer, smokier soul: tobacco brings a smoky, faintly sweet note, Cashmeran a musky, ambery softness, while Kharismal adds an almost impalpable woody-ambery depth. Jasmine and lily of the valley offer a bright floral light, geranium a green, herbaceous nuance, while agarwood (oud) already begins to make itself felt, woody and precious, alongside labdanum and cedarwood, which add resinous, woody depth; a chypre accord closes the heart with a dry, sophisticated touch.

The base is the most enveloping, majestic part: oud grows bold and refined, leather brings a soft, faintly animalic warmth, while patchouli, sandalwood and guaiac wood build a deep, smoky woody foundation. Vanilla, tonka bean, amber and benzoin balsam bring a warm, resinous sweetness, while musk and vetiver close the trail in a warm, leathery, enveloping embrace that lingers on the skin for a long time.
