The Fragrance

Morning Star is born, the maison tells us, from the myth of dawn and twilight, in which two celestial brothers become one star: Eosphoros, the light of morning, and Hesperos, the light of evening, united in a single star, the morning star. With Morning Star the maison enriches its Alchemical Trilogy, alongside Liquide Gold and Lunatique, and entrusts the story to Louise Turner, who also created Blanche Bête. For the perfumer the result is a fragrance that is calm yet radiant: a light that comes on slowly, like the sky in the minutes when night and day touch.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is bright: bergamot and pink pepper light up over a thread of cinnamon, while an incense accord and sclarene, a molecule with a subtly metallic glint, give the start a fresh, brilliant light, like the sky before dawn. In the heart the fragrance turns soft: a lily of the valley accord and fresh jasmine blend with a milky note that makes everything more velvety and enveloping. As the hours pass the woody base emerges, with cedarwood, georgywood, akigalawood, patchouli heart and vetiver, warmed by tonka bean and a veil of musk, for an elegant, luminous trail.

It is a fragrance that doesn't need to raise its voice to be remembered: bright, soft, with a quiet elegance that grows on you more and more.
