The Fragrance

Fico d'India is dedicated to the plant with glorious orange flowers that grows lush and wild all over Sicily, among dry-stone walls, countryside and gardens by the sea. Villoresi made it into a soft, powdery portrait, far from the usual fruity scents, which has become Ortigia's signature perfume. The same fragrance is also available in Ortigia's bath and body line, to build a complete scented ritual.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is green and sparkling: cactus brings a vegetal, almost sappy freshness. In the heart, fig becomes soft and velvety, lit up by orange blossom. The drydown settles on an elegant cedarwood, leaving a clean, dry and powdery trail on the skin.
