In 1815, a large quantity of tobacco, left to dry in the summer sun of the Florence Factory, was caught in a violent downpour. Unable to “throw into the Arno” all that quantity of tobacco, it was decided to produce cigars to sell to the people of Florence. It was an immediate great success: the water, in fact, fermented the tobacco, giving it a completely new taste. Tabacco 1815 is the perfume of tradition that was born by pure chance and that today celebrates more than 200 years of history.
