The Scent

Fico d'India is Ortigia's best-loved scent, inspired by the cactus with glorious orange flowers that grows wild all over Sicily: a powdery accord of fig and cedarwood, fresh, dry and velvety. After every wash your hands stay delicately scented, and the bottle by the basin becomes a small touch of Sicily at home.

Formula and Ingredients

A pure glycerine liquid soap enriched with olive oil: natural and delicate, as the house describes it, with no SLS, silicone, nickel or parabens. It is made for the hands but is also a pleasure to use on the body, and the 300 ml pump bottle brings a touch of Sicilian colour to the bathroom or kitchen.

How to Use It

One or two pumps onto wet hands, lather and rinse. It can also be used in the shower as a body wash; after washing, the body cream of the same fragrance completes the gesture and moisturises the skin.
