How It Evolves on Skin

Rimal opens with an opulent, spicy amber embrace: vanilla brings a creamy, sweet warmth from the very start, while fruity notes add a luminous juiciness and white flowers a delicate floral elegance. Saffron lends its unmistakable signature, golden and exotic, almost leathery, while cinnamon and nutmeg add a sweet, warm, almost festive spiciness. After about half an hour, the fruity sweetness begins to make its way and the heart reveals its resinous complexity: ylang-ylang brings an exotic, slightly spicy floral richness, patchouli an earthy, musky depth, while styrax offers a balsamic sweetness with leathery and vanilla nuances, enriched by sweet notes that make the heart even softer; rose and incense complete a lush, layered heart. The base is the deepest and most enveloping part: caramel gives a rich, golden sweetness, leather a soft, faintly animalic warmth, amber and cistus labdanum a resinous sweetness, while agarwood (oud) comes in decisively, woody and refined, with its characteristic deep warmth. Vetiver, sandalwood and musk close the trail in a warm, leathery, oud-veined embrace that stays on the skin for a long time.
