The Fragrance

The maison presents it as an Alexandrine ode to Egypt, made of mentholated, resinous, emerald notes: a mentholated breath upon papyrus, a solar barque, a queen and her devotee. The name evokes the legend of Cleopatra and the asp, the gesture with which the last queen of Egypt chose her own destiny. The perfume translates that duality between power and mystery into a continuous play of cold and heat, where the initial freshness gradually gives way to a dense, regal warmth.

How It Evolves on Skin

The opening is sharp and luminous: bergamot and citrus meet spearmint and blackcurrant buds, while davana, incense and styrax already announce the depth to come. The heart is fresh and carnal at once: African mint and clary sage intertwine with vetiver, osmanthus and jasmine sambac. The base warms everything with blond tobacco, dates, burnt labdanum, saffron and birch: a smoky, enveloping finish that lasts from morning to evening.
