Inspired by the cultural heritage of Dubai, Turath tells the encounter between the city's ancient traditions and its contemporary spirit, between the poetic beauty of the Mu'allaqat, the narrative splendor of One Thousand and One Nights and the enchanting flavours of Arabic cuisine. A fragrance that opens on a fruity and spicy bouquet, fades into a floral-woody heart enriched with oud, closing on a warm base of leather, resins and smoky notes. It is part of the line created by master perfumer Asghar Adam Ali, who signs all the fragrances of The Spirit of Dubai.

How it evolves on the skin

Turath opens with a fruity, juicy bouquet: apple, pineapple, strawberry, peach and coconut intertwine with blackcurrant, while pink pepper, Nepalese pepper, bergamot, cumin, cinnamon and sweet orange bring a spicy, sparkling touch, enriched with Damask rose, cardamom, coffee, dried fruit and candied fruit. The heart opens bright and precious: jasmine, lily of the valley, iris and amyris intertwine with cedarwood and oud, embellished with coriander, violet and rose. The base is the most enveloping and ritualistic part: patchouli, sandalwood, guaiac wood and vetiver warm up with tolu balsam and Peru balsam, while leather, smoky notes, cistus, labdanum, incense and civet build a dense, precious trail, lit up by white musk, grey amber, vanilla, musk, amber and oakmoss.
